Due to the high volume of appointment requests, England Run Veterinary Clinic has established a new policy on cancellation of appointments and no-shows. We understand that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, when you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, it creates an unused appointment slot that could have been used for another patient in need of it.
As a courtesy, our staff provides reminder calls as well as email and/or text reminders of appointments. It is important that you keep your information up-to-date with us for this reason.
How to Cancel Your Appointment
To cancel your appointment, please call 540-370-0237. If you reach our voicemail, please leave a detailed message. If you would like to reschedule, please leave information on how you can best be reached and our front desk team will reach out to you, as soon as possible.
Appointment No Show
A “no-show” is a client who misses an appointment without canceling it.
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is canceled without 24 hours advance notice.
No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy
A missed appointment will be recorded in the patient’s chart as a “no-show”. This includes arriving 15 minutes late to a scheduled appointment.
The first time there is a “no-show” or late cancellation there will be no charge to the client. A 2nd occurrence will result in you being charged at $50.00 fee. Additional occurrences will result in the charge of an office visit $81.00 and may result in requiring all future appointments being pre-paid or client being discharged from the practice.
