Katie, LVT

Began in health with a Bachelors in Kinesiology from Shenandoah University. Her passion
for animal care led her to earn her Veterinary Technician license from Bradford Veterinary
Technician Institute in Columbus, Ohio in 2015. Katie has a strong foundation in emergency
medicine, gaining experience at an emergency hospital in Richmond and Fredericksburg
before transitioning to General Practice. In 2024 Katie furthered her career in medicine by
becoming a registered nurse.
Beyond her professional life, Katie loves exploring breweries, cideries, and wineries often
accompanied by her two border collies Meeko and Mowgli and her friends.
